Prints on this site are sold by Yatcha AG, Dufourstrasse 22, 8008 Zurich, Switzerland, registered for Swiss VAT under CHE-474.619.507 MWST, trading as The Sidney Z. Lucas Archive. Enquiries: sales@szlarchive.com.
Every sheet offered here is an original period print from the Sidney Z. Lucas studio in New York, produced between the 1940s and the 1960s. The studio's craft was fine reproduction: these are mid-twentieth-century prints after earlier artists, not original plates by those artists' own hands. They are described that way throughout the site and should be understood that way.
The archive as a whole was examined and authenticated by Phillips Son & Neale, London, in 1988 and 1990. That authentication covers the archive, not any individual sheet.
Sheets are old stock and were stored for decades. Minor handling marks, edge wear and slight variation in paper tone are normal and are not defects. Sheet sizes are the studio's nominal sizes and may vary a little. Colour on your screen will not match the sheet exactly.
All prices are in Swiss francs and include Swiss VAT at 8.1% where it applies. Deliveries outside Switzerland are zero-rated exports and no Swiss VAT is charged; the tax shown at checkout adjusts to your delivery address. Import duty or VAT charged by your own country is not included and is payable by you.
Postage is added at checkout and depends on the largest sheet in your order. Small sheets travel flat; sheets over twenty inches on the long edge travel rolled in a tube, which Swiss Post charges considerably more to carry.

Orders are despatched from Switzerland, normally within three to five working days. Switzerland: two to four working days. Europe: four to ten. These are Swiss Post's estimates, not guarantees.
If a print is not what you hoped for, you may return it within fourteen days of delivery for a full refund of the print. Tell us first at sales@szlarchive.com, then send it back in its original packing, flat or rolled as it arrived.
The print must come back in the condition it left in. Return postage is yours unless the print arrived damaged or was not as described. Refunds are made to the card used, within five working days of the print reaching us.
Prints are packed to travel. If yours arrives damaged, photograph the packaging and the sheet before unpacking further and email us within seven days. We will replace it where another example of the design exists, and refund it in full where one does not.
Card payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own secure pages. Your card details are never submitted to, stored by, or visible to this website. You may also request a proforma invoice and pay by bank transfer; prints are held for seven days pending payment.
We collect only what an order needs: your name, delivery address, email address and the contents of your order. We use it to fulfil the order and to answer you about it. We do not sell it and we do not send marketing unless you ask for it.
Two processors see order data on our behalf: Stripe, which handles payment and holds the card details we never see, and Netlify, which hosts this site and receives invoice requests. Both act under their own privacy terms. Order records are kept for ten years, as Swiss commercial law requires.
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your basket is held in your own browser and goes nowhere until you check out.

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts of Zurich have jurisdiction. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.
